Hello to all you Western BBQ fans my name is Trevor and I hail from Calgary. I am fairly new to all this smoking stuff but I am no spring piggy when it comes to cooking as I do hold a professional cooking degree from SAIT. As such I have working a few pubs and such around the city, but don't work professionally anymore.

I am looking to, at some point, enter some compitions as I have recently gotten my hot little paws on a brand new 22.5 WSM. If anyone around town needs an extra body me and my knives are at the ready

Welcome to the board trevthebear. By all means ask away for any info. Comp season is coming up and their are two in Alberta. Strathmore has one on the August long weekend and Calgary has BBQ on the Bow in September. If you would like you would be more than welcome to come to strathmore and help me out. Only thing is you can't were the stamps shirt when in the pigsicle tent.

sure thing I can skip the stamps shirt, I'll bring the jersey

Seriously thanks for the offer that would be awsome. The good knives are always packed and ready for action.

Being from Sask all Headpiggy really needs is someone who can count. They ask for 6 pieces and he always puts in 7. Must be something that is speading down there.
