The applications are now online for any of you that want to come down to Oklahoma in May and compete in one of the biggest comps in the state. They are putting the limit at 100 teams.

Hope to see some of you there. If you have any questions about hotel accomodations in the area or if you need a rental car, just let me know.

Hey Steve this one looks interesting. Do you know if their is any place handy that rents campers that could move it in place for me. Then I just need to get the fat guy from texas to meet me their  with the way he drives it will be two speeding tickets and a week of driving for the amount of times he gets lost.

Jim - I think there is a place around here that rents travel trailers and they'll set them up for you. Let me do some checking and get some places for you to contact.

Yep, get Gene up here -- that would be great!

Jim - I just searched for RV rentals in Tulsa, OK. Here are 2 web sites I came up with that have a location in Tulsa and they do RV rentals. I'm not sure which ones would do the set up for you though.

Here's a place that rents travel trailers (and they might be able to set it up for you on site).

That's great Jim, glad you are all signed up and ready. I had to call Lisa the other day to make arrangements for me to be able to set up Thursday evening (instead of waiting till Friday morning). So we'll take our Lab with us for the night - we'll take him back home Friday afternoon before it gets really crazy around there.

Robert lives about 15-20 miles from the event venue -- not really far, but there isn't a highway that gets you much closer to him so you have to stay on city streets. We'll get you an actual address when time gets closer (or I'll send Robert over here to post his info - I'm not sure if he's a member on this forum or not).

Are you doing People's Choice?? What time are you planning on rolling into town? I'm guessing you are coming in on Friday. I've got a 2-man tent if you want to use it -- just let me know.

Sounds great Steve thanks for all the help. I should have enough room to park my truck beside us so I was planning on sleeping in the back as I bought a special Carpet liner for my truck for just such a case. However after speaking to the WILD MAN he thinks we need a RV and is supposed to be looking into that, which means I will have to get a bigger spot. I will be arriving Thursday sometime so if we don't get a RV then will book a hotel for that night but will be calling on you once we get to town. Yes I am doing the all the events, the four main events along with the sausage and the people's event. should be a great time and I can hardly wait.
